UNIDO Software and training
services at World PC EXPO, Makuhari Messe, Tokyo, Japan, 19 - 22
September 2001
UNIDO software "PHAROS - Business
Navigator" and "COMFAR" were introduced to the visitors from Japan and
other countries at the international exhibition PC WORLD EXPO 2001 which
took place in Tokyo, Japan between 19 - 22 September 2001.
The Expo is one the largest shows in
Asia presenting information technology products to Japanese visitors as
well as to many other specialists from neighboring countries coming to
the exhibition.
The presentation was initiated by
Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO - http://www.jetro.go.jp)
which representatives visited UNIDO in May 2001 to review Pharos
software and then indicated the interest in bringing information about
the UNIDO developments to improve productivity and quality to Japanese
businesses, SME and private sector.
The UNIDO software products and
services were presented by Serge Golovanov, DDTC and Gerardo Patacconi,
UNIDO at the JETRO NEW BUSINESS SHOWCASE, held as part of World PC Expo.
UNIDO / GOLEM booth #1304 was visited
by about 100 visitors, representing mostly information technology
companies, executive training and business management consulting
companies from various countries. The visitors received complete
overview of the products and services, obtained product leaflets and
explanations.
The majority of the visitors mentioned
that PHAROS software provides effective and interesting solution for the
SME management addressing the issues in a very attractive, simple and
easy to use way. |
