| GOLEM IMS GmbH was founded in 1990 in Vienna, Austria providing consulting, training and development of introductory Information Technology tools for entrepreneurs of Small and Medium-sized enterprises. The company mission is facilitating business performance measurement, management and benchmarking as well as policy-making support for regional and national administration, investment and innovation agencies. The company has long experience of implementing several successful projects and programmes in various countries providing services to United Nations Industrial Development Organization, EC and other international and national agencies. It established strong partnerships with various partner organizations and individuals worldwide providing simple and cost-effective solutions for industries increasing productivity, competitiveness, quality and sustainability of enterprises. The main modalities of collaboration are implementing capacity building programmes introducing methodology and best practices in systematic improvement of business results by enterprises and regional industries with simple information and communication technology (ICT) tools. The main areas of company activities are as follows:  | Developing content, providing consulting and training support to implementation of Regional and National Programmes for Small and Medium - sized Enterprises for improving productivity, quality, competitiveness and managerial skills at the enterprise and industrial sector levels. | | Development of the introductory ICT tools, solutions and training/support materials for Strategic, Financial and Production Management of SMEs. | | Development and implementation of policy making support for regional and national administration as well as banking, investment agencies and industrial associations in countries supporting implementation of SME and entrepreneurship upgrading services. |

Collaboration with UNIDO UNIDO business performance management, measurement and benchmarking software is developed and produced for UNIDO by GOLEM IMS GMBH accordingly to Contract between UNIDO and GOLEM initially signed in 1998 and extended in June 2000. GOLEM IMS GMBH provides technical assistance to UNIDO and other national and international organizations in implementation of capacity building and industrial modernization programmes applying UNIDO Pharos suite for enterprise performance management, measuring and benchmarking in developing countries. National support for the software implementation in countries is realized by National Focal Points – Enterprise Performance Improvement Centers established by GOLEM in collaboration with UNIDO as stipulated by the Contract between UNIDO and GOLEM.
ASIDEES The Association for Sustainable Innovative Development in Economics, Environment and Society (ASIDEES) established in Vienna, Austria in 2009 provides the NGO framework for capacity building and industrial modernization programmes in countries.
