UNIDO launches software toolkits
Bangalore: United Nations Industrial Development Organisation (UNIDO) announced the launch of the UNIDO Business Performance Software at BangaloreIT.com

Consisting of four complementary software toolkits, BEST, FIT, Pharos and MCCT, the software claims to help enterprises in improving business performance and strategic management and is targeted mainly at SME's, government organisations, business schools, private and public sector undertakings, banks etc.

"Only by improving business performance and strategic management can enterprises survive in global markets," said Golem Integrated Microecletronics Solutions president Serge Golovanov.

India will be used as the hub for the promotion and propagation of the software" he added. The Quality, Standardisation and Metrology division of the UNIDO developed the software. According to Golovanov, versions of the software in four regional languages will be developed in the next six months.
